🚀 You’re Invited! Celebrate STEM at Central Vermont’s FIRST Robotics Open House 🚀

Join us Saturday, September 6th at the Greenway Institute in Montpelier for a day of inspiration, innovation, and hands-on STEM exploration at our FIRST Robotics Open House!

We’re excited to invite students, parents, educators, and community members from across Washington County and beyond to come learn about the incredible STEM opportunities we’re building right here in Central Vermont. From coding to CAD, machining to marketing, and robot design to real-world engineering, our goal is to ignite curiosity and empower the next generation of inventors, problem-solvers, and leaders.

Our Open House will showcase examples of FIRST programs for students in grades K–12. You’ll find engaging displays for FIRST LEGO League Discover and Explore, designed for our youngest innovators. Two of Washington County’s top FIRST LEGO League Challenge teams—part of Vermont’s largest robotics program for grades 3–8—will be joining us. We’ll also feature FIRST Tech Challenge teams from Montpelier High School and U-32, representing both middle and high school levels. And don’t miss the IBOTs, one of Vermont’s top FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) teams—these are the big bots!

This open house is your chance to:

• Meet Team 10910 – The Outlaws, Vermont’s newest high school FRC robotics team
• Discover how you or your student can get involved—whether as a team member, mentor, or volunteer
• See live robot demos and past competition highlights
• Explore how STEM education is transforming futures across Vermont
